Parkview Health, Zimmer Biomet, DePuy Synthes Employees To Share JA With Students
WARSAW — For 24 enthusiastic employees from Parkview Health, Zimmer Biomet and DePuy Synthes, the time spent preparing to share JA in a Day activities with students will culminate on May 19. At 7:30 a.m. these dedicated volunteers will meet 289 students at Edgewood Middle School. The Junior Achievement activities will continue in the classrooms until 12:15 p.m.
Every JA in a Day event is an opportunity for students to experience economic concepts through hands-on activities. The learning builds students’ understanding of the realities of money and work and the value of education. The participating Parkview Health, Zimmer Biomet and DePuy Synthes employee volunteers will guide the activities.
“Parkview Warsaw is looking forward to partnering with Junior Achievement for this special event,” said Parkview Warsaw Community Relations Specialist, Andrea Sullivan. “JA in a Day is a reflection of what Parkview and this community are all about. We believe an important component of strengthening our community is investing our time and talent in its students, and this is a wonderful opportunity for Parkview Warsaw further that mission.”
