Franklin C. Clark
Franklin C. Clark, 84, North Manchester, died at 7:22 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Aug. 12, 1932 in Wabash County to Cyril and Marie (Williams) Clark. He served in the U.S. Army 1952-1954 serving during the Korean War.
On Aug. 17, 1956 he married Evelyn E. Betten. In 1996 he retired from North Manchester Foundry after 27 years of service. He enjoyed working on his Cushman Motor Scooters and being outside. He loved walking his dog “Socks” down their lane.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn E. Clark, North Manchester; sons, Kenneth (Kathie) Clark, Pierceton; Mike (Jane) Clark, North Manchester; Jeff (Judi) Clark, Leesburg; and David Clark, North Manchester; daughters, Janet Clark, North Manchester; and Amy Poe, Mentone; brother, Jerry D. Clark, North Manchester; sister, Linda (Bob) Montel, Warsaw; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Two brothers, James Clark and John Clark, are deceased.
Family and friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Monday, May 22 at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Services will be Monday, May 22 at 3 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
