Lakeview Ladies Compete In Conference Track Meet
WARSAW – The Lakeview Middle School girls track teams competed in the NELMSC Meet.
The Lakeview ladies placed sixth in the 7th grad meet with 36 points. Edgewood won the team title with 137 points.
Cora West led the Lakeview 7th grade contingent in the conference meet. West placed second in the discus and fourth in the shot put in field events competition. She was also fifth in the 800 and seventh in the 400.
Chloe Boggs earned a third place finish in the 100 hurdles. Julianne Olson was fifth in the high jump and Lizzie Miner was fifth in the shot put.
Lakeview also placed sixth in both the 4 X 100 and 4 X 400 relay events.
The Lakeview 8th grade girls squad was seventh in the meet with 38 points. Edgewood also won the 8th grade team title with 98.5 points.
Michelle Miranda led Lakeview as she won the long jump competition. She was also seventh in the 400.
Elizabeth Stone placed fourth in the 1,600 and eighth in the 800 for Lakeview. Emma Jenkins was sixth in the high jump and Nadia Handy sixth in the discus.
Lily Boston placed second in the long jump. Lakeview was also second in the 4 X 400 relay and fifth in the 4 X 100 relay.
