WARSAW — May 8 – 12 is National Tourism Week and the Kosciusko County Convention and Visitors Bureau invites all-county communities to celebrate the economic impact that tourism brings to the county.
An informal cookout lunch is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 11, at the visitor center on US 30, along with an open house inside the visitor center. The event is a way to raise awareness of the impact travel and tourism has on Kosciusko County. One Ten Craft Meatery will grill brats and hotdogs for the first 200 guests. The event is rain or shine.
A drawing will also take place for a $600-value “Experience Kosciusko County” prize pack. Those that wish to enter need to come to the event for entry but do not need to be present to win. Winner will be announced on Facebook. Guests are welcome to tour the visitor center and learn how leisure and group travelers are served.
