Linda Mae Miller
Linda Mae Miller, 57, Ligonier, passed away at home at 1:50 a.m. Saturday morning, May 6, 2017, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on July 23, 1959 in LaGrange, the daughter of Melvin Lee and Mary Ellen (Bontrager) Mullet and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. On May 29, 1980, she married Ernest Lee Miller; he survives.
Also surviving are their children, Loretta Jean Miller at home, Dale Devon (Barbara) Miller of Millersburg, Lavern Dean Miller, David Wayne (Kristine) Miller of Topeka, Lonnie Gene Miller, Daryl Lee (Connie) Miller, Gerald Ray (Sharon) Miller, and Waneta Fern (Luke) Miller and Allen Jay Miller all of New Paris, IN, along with Susie Ellen Miller and Robert Lyn Miller both at home; seven granddaughters; three grandsons; her mother, Mary Ellen Mullett of Topeka; seven sisters, Eva (Perry) Yoder of Shipshewana, Waneta Mullett of Millersburg, Kathryn (Glen) Lehman of Shipshewana, Lorene (Vernon) Miller of Ligonier, Amanda Mullett of Shipshewana, and Ida Mullett of Topeka; five brothers, Larry (Rose) Mullett of Wolcottville, Melvin Jr. (Dorene) Mullett of Millersburg, Alvin (Esther) Mullett of Shipshewana, Dennis (Esther) Mullett of Sturgis, Mich., and Lonnie (Amy) Mullett of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Nola Jean Lehman.
A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday May 9, at the family residence, 1410 West Union Street, Ligonier, IN 46767. Bishop Marlin Fry and the home ministers will officiate. Pall Bearers are Lamar Miller, Glen Miller, Mark Kaufman, Kenny Yoder, Richard Hochstetler, and Homer Miller. Burial will take place at Southside Cemetery in Ligonier. Family and friends will be received after 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 7 and all day Monday May 8 at the family residence.
