Thai House To Be Able To Serve Alcohol
WARSAW — The Thai House Restaurant, 820 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, was approved for its wine retailer permit May 4 at the monthly Alcoholic Beverage Board meeting.
Owner Juan Jose Fuentes was present to take questions from the board. Fuentes is receiving a wine permit while awaiting the availability of a permit to serve beer and liquor.
“We get a lot of clients from the big businesses and they have all requested alcohol,” said Fuentes. “We’re only able to get the wine for now.”
The following businesses were approved for new permits:
- Winona Heritage Room, LLC, 901 Park Ave., Winona Lake. Beer, wine and liquor – catering hall.
- Thai House Corporation, operating as Thai House Restaurant, 820 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw. Wine retailer.
The following businesses had their permits renewed:
- Freedom Oil, LLC, operating as Freedom Express, 750 S. SR 13, North Webster. Beer and wine dealer.
- Paul Express, operating as Phillips 66 Convenience Store, 2518 E. Center St., Warsaw. Beer and wine dealer.
- Pure Pleasure Inc., operating as Pizza King, 1039 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw. Beer and wine retailer.
- RT Michiana Franchise, LLC, operating as Ruby Tuesday, 3308 E. Center St., Warsaw. Beer, wine and liquor.
- James and Wendy Inc., operating as Hammer’s Pub and Grub, 104 E. Pickwick Road, Syracuse. Beer, wine and liquor.
- Claypool, LLC, operating as Claypool Inn, 108 S. Main St., Claypool. Beer, wine and liquor.
The following businesses were approved for license transfers
- Huntington Street Bar and Grill, 701 N. Huntington St., Syracuse. Beer and wine retailer/beer, wine and liquor.
- 701 Tap House, LLC, 704 N. Huntington St., Syracuse. Beer, wine and liquor.
Lucky Daisy, Inc., operating as Yamato Steakhouse of Japan, was continued until next month.
