Offices with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:02 a.m. Monday, May 1, 540 E. Market St., Warsaw. Driver: Adrian Rose, 68, North Colfax Street, Warsaw. Rose hit a light pole in the Dollar General parking lot. Damage up to $5,000.
2:45 p.m. Monday, May 1, West Market Street and South Columbia Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Hector Ibarra, 44, Wooster Road, Winona Lake, and Elisa C. Tinsley, 25, East Main Street, Atwood. Tinsley stopped at a stop sign; Ibarra slid on the wet pavement and rear ended Tinsley’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
11:09 a.m. Monday, May 1, Argonne Road and East Market Street, Warsaw. Driver: unknown, and Cameron C. Thomas, West CR 900N, Milford. An unknown driver in a small black car disregarded a stop sign and collided with Thomas’s vehicle. Thomas advised the driver had gotten out of the vehicle, stated he was being chased and that someone was trying to kill his family, got back into his vehicle and left. Damage up to $2,500.
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
6:30 p.m. Monday, May 1, East Armstrong Road, east of T25 Lane, Leesburg. Driver: Stephen Ledgerwood, 27, East CR 500N, Leesburg. Ledgerwood drove off of Armstrong Road, laying his bike down. Ledgerwood complained of leg pain but denied medical assistance. Damage up to $5,000.
