David Richard Kessler
David Richard “Dave” Kessler, 73, North Webster, passed away at 4:35 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at his home. He was born on Nov. 21, 1943 in Flint, Mich. to Kenneth Richard and Lois Ada (Pardon) Kessler.
He graduated in 1962 from Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Mich. On Sept. 22, 1978 in Pinckney, Mich. he married Vivian Mae “Viv” (Whitaker) Lindstrom who survives. He moved to the North Webster area in August 1983 from Stockbridge, Mich. and retired in 1997 after 30 years from the Dana Corporation in Chelsea, Mich. and Syracuse.
He was a member of Church of the Brethren and Sons of American Legion both in North Webster. He was a former member of Lions Club in North Webster.
He is survived by his wife, Viv Kessler, North Webster; daughter, Cheryl Lynn (Pat Stahl) Kessler, Jackson, Mich.; granddaughter, Katelynn Kessler Stahl, Jackson; step-sons: Kenneth Duane Lindstrom, Ann Arbor, Mich.; Larry Douglas Lindstrom, North Webster; sister, Patricia Ann (Horest) Dupke, Brooksville, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – noon on Saturday, May 6 at the Church of the Brethren, 7281 E. 600N, North Webster. Memorial services will follow on Saturday at noon in the church with Pastor Bob Wyman officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later date in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Stockbridge, Mich. Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster is in charge of all arrangements.
