NorthWood Baseball: Panthers Best Bremen
NAPPANEE – A little wet weather did nothing to slow down the NorthWood baseball team Saturday.
The red-hot Panthers continued to roll right along by downing visiting Bremen 7-3 in a non-conference matchup.
NorthWood moves its season mark to 13-1. The Panthers also boast a perfect 6-0 mark in Northern Lakes Conference play to sit atop the league standings.
The Panthers scored four runs in the second inning and added a three spot in the fourth frame Saturday to down the Lions.
Vincent Herschberger led the offense for NorthWood with a pair of doubles. Matt Dutkowski added a two-bagger for the winners.
NorthWood plays at Goshen Monday evening to complete the first round of NLC action.
