Hupfer, Seat Speakers At Republican Lincoln Day Dinner
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Kyle Hupfer will be the keynote speaker at the annual Kosciusko County Republicans Lincoln Day Dinner with special comments from Pete Seat. The event will be held Thursday, April 27, at Vitale Events, 2517 E. Center St., Warsaw.
Hupfer is the new Indiana State Republican chairman. Additionally, he is chief administrative officer and general counsel of Indiana Mills & Manufacturing Inc., Republican chairman of 5th Congressional District, treasurer of Eric Holcomb for Indiana and was co-chair of the Holcomb-Crouch Transition Board. Hupfer has previously served as the director of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources for Gov. Mitch Daniels, chairman of the Indiana State Fair Commission and a partner at Frost Brown Todd LLC. He is currently a trustee at Manchester University, where he served as team captain of the school’s NCAA Division III runner-Up basketball team, and a member of several other not-for-profit organizations.
Seat is executive director of strategic communications and talent development for the Indiana Republican Party. A former spokesman for President George W. Bush, U.S. Sen. Dan Coats and the Indiana Republican Party, Seat worked at Indianapolis-based public affairs consulting firm Hathaway Strategies. He has appeared on numerous Fox News and MSNBC programs including “Happening Now,” “The Daily Rundown with Chuck Todd,” and “Hardball with Chris Matthews.” He also has published columns in outlets including Politico, MSNBC.com and The Indianapolis Star, and is the author of the forthcoming book “The War on Millennials.” From June 2005 to January 2009, Seat served on President George W. Bush’s White House staff, including as deputy assistant press secretary. He traveled to 23 countries with the president, logged thousands of miles aboard Air Force One and was one of only a handful of staff in the Oval Office during the first gathering in 25 years of all living presidents at the White House. A native of Schererville, Seat is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in theater arts and was an alternate delegate to the 2004 Republican National Convention from Arizona and again in 2012 representing Indiana. He has also worked directly with press secretaries Tony Snow and Dana Perino.
