Ruth Elizabeth Miller, 82, Warsaw, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017.
She was born on May 10, 1934 in Kendallville to Kenneth Dodson and Mildred (Caldwell) Dodson. On June 20, 1952 she was married to Jack Vern Miller, who passed away on Jan. 11, 1996.
Ruth was a 1952 graduate of Leu Wallace High School in Gary. She was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 43 years where she worked in customer service at DePuy in Warsaw for 22 years retiring in 1996. She enjoyed crafts, playing piano, singing in the choir and she especially loved spending time with her family.
She will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters: Terri (husband Jim) Zielasko, Winona Lake; Jacki (husband Brian) Hueni, South Bend; Crystal Miller, Warsaw; five grandchildren: Tyler (wife Kari) Zielasko, Winona Lake; Christopher (wife Crystal) Zielasko, Davensport, Fla.; Dustin (wife Megan) Hueni, Cody Hueni and Brianna Hueni, South Bend. Also surviving are nine great grandchildren; and two sisters: Lois (husband Leon) Rowland, Taylorsville, N.C.; Mary Ann (husband Bruce) Pickell, Westfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her brother.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, April 22 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Private family graveside services will take place at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
