Manchester Wrestling: Wilson Not Going Far In Next Move
NORTH MANCHESTER – Braxtin Wilson likely won’t need to rent a U-Haul to move his things to his new college destination.
The Manchester High School senior has chosen to continue his wrestling and academic career just a few blocks away at Manchester University.
Highlighting Wilson’s career was a personal run to semi-state as a senior for the Squires. Wilson, who wrestled at 120 pounds in the state tournament, finished 13-18 overall before losing his first-round match at the semi-state. Wilson won the 120 sectional title at Peru and finished fourth at the Peru regional.
Seated with Braxtin is mother Brenda Stensland and sister Brielle Wilson. In the back row are MHS wrestling coach Jerimiah Maggart and MHS athletic director Jeremy Markham.
