Everett E. Fought
Everett E. Fought, 79, Goshen, died Monday, April 10, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born Oct. 30, 1937, in Noble County to Owen and Irene (Nelson) Fought.
Surviving is a son: Kermit (Kelly) Fought, Goshen; three brothers: Ernest (Wilma) Fought, Warsaw; and Byron (Marilyn) Fought; and Harold (Sallie) Fought, both of Ligonier; a half sister: Erma Buckle, Columbia City; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife: Vonda (Rheinheimer); second wife: Dianna L. (Evans); and a brother: Russell Fought.
Everett was a 1957 graduate of Cromwell High School and veteran of the U.S. Army. A long-time member of Goshen Christian Church, he enjoyed golfing, flower gardening and family reunions.
Mr. Fought was a group leader at Johnson Controls, retiring after 43 years and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Following retirement he continued to work at Maplecrest Country Club for 15 years.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Friday, April 14, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 10 a.m., Saturday, April 15, funeral service at Goshen Christian Church. Pastor Kim Huffman will officiate.
Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier.
