Pets Of The Week
WARSAW — Pets of the Week are available at the Animal Welfare League, located at 3489 E. CR 100S, Pierceton.
Bennie
“Bennie is a 4 year old hound mix who has been neutered and is a close friend to everyone at the AWL! He is brindle and white with a docked tail. With all the new friends, sights, and smells surrounding him (especially outside) it is rather easy for him to become distracted.
Bennie has had quite a story when he was found prior to his arrival at the AWL. He was found by a very kind lady who took him in and got him to a vet. And there it was discovered that his femur was once broken, and though it has healed, Bennie would have a permanent limp.
It was also discovered that Bennie had fleas, hookworms, and Lyme Disease! Not to mention that he was seriously underweight. This woman couldn’t keep Bennie for other reasons, so she made the wise choice of bringing Bennie to the AWL with his bag of medications to treat him.
Now Bennie is healthy and has put on some good weight. He still loves running and exploring outside. He would do wonderfully as you family’s pet. So come on in to see Bennie and become the next exciting chapter in his life!”
Bennie’s adoption price is $130.
Dotty
“Dotty is spayed, 3 years old, and a black and white Domestic Short Hair. She is a sweet cuddler who wants your unconditional love each time she sees you! She has a slight kink in her tail, but you would never notice it since she would be too busy cozying up to you. She is a very relaxed girl who would really enjoy being loved by you and your family.
You can come in to the AWL and spoil this soft, snuggling, loving girl on your lap!”
Dotty’s adoption price is $70.
