Irish Women’s Hoops Duo To Transfer
SOUTH BEND – A pair of players, including a former Indiana Miss Basketball, will be leaving the Notre Dame women’s basketball program.
The duo of Erin Boley and Ali Patberg will transfer from the team at the end of the semester it was announced Monday.
Boley averaged 6.5 points and 2.8 rebounds per game during the 2016-17 season. A former Miss Basketball winner from Kentucky, she had eight points in Notre Dame’s loss to Stanford in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.
Sophomore Patberg was an Indiana Miss Basketball winner out of Columbus North High School. She missed her entire freshman season after suffering a torn ACL in preseason practice. Patberg played in 22 games this past season, averaging 7.7 minutes per game and less than a point per contest.
