INDIANAPOLIS – The continuation of postseason basketball events were announced late Monday as the lineups were announced for the 29th annual North/South Indiana All-Star Classic girls and boys basketball games.
Put on by Hoosier Basketball Magazine, Pacesetter Sports of Terre Haute and host Logansport High School, the All-Star games will take place Sunday, April 9, the girls game at 2 p.m. and the boys to follow.
Among the North All-Star girls are Tippecanoe Valley’s Anne Secrest and Warsaw’s Dayton Groninger, as well as area studs Courtney Dunlap of Argos, the Homestead duo Karissa McLaughlin and Madisen Parker, and St. Joe’s duo of Nicole Konieczny and Daly Sullivan.
The North All-Star boys feature NorthWood guard Vinny Miranda as well as Maconaquah tower Wyatt Hughes. The North roster also includes a pair of Grace College recruits in Matt Jennings of Logansport and Haden Deaton of McCutcheon. Kris Wilkes of Indianapolis North Central, a UCLA recruit, is also on the North team.
Tickets for the games can be had for $10 at the door.
