Karen S. Stayton, 46, passed away of natural causes with her family by her side on Friday morning March 31, 2017 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
Karen was born in Plymouth on Oct. 16, 1970 to David L. and Norma (Hall) Stayton Sr. She graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1989. She loved sports and played basketball in junior high and volleyball in high school. After graduation she attended Ancilla College in Donaldson.
She worked as assistant manager at Taco Bell in Plymouth for many years before working at Del Monte.
Karen adored her fur children and being around her family. She was an avid collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia, loved tiger print and was a fan of the Cubs, Miami Dolphins and Hurricanes.
She is survived by her mother, Norma of Plymouth, and siblings: Jo (Kenneth) Hundt of Plymouth, David (Johanna) Stayton Jr. of Argos, Johny (Tami) Stayton of Plymouth and Vernon Stayton of Plymouth; nieces and nephews: Kristen (Tim) Bules of Plymouth, Nick Hundt of Bourbon, Jenny Hundt of Plymouth, Danielle Stayton of Rochester, David Stayton III of Plymouth, Tony Campiti of Las Vegas and Jason Campiti of Washington D.C; as well as several great- nieces and nephews.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, David.
Family services will be held at a later date.
