Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
1:11 p.m. Thursday, March 30, East CR 800S, east of South CR 300E, Sidney. Driver: Michael W. Richards, 52, West Spencer Avenue, Marion. Richards stated the vehicle went off the edge of the roadway and into a ditch, rolling on its side. Damages up to $10,000.
11:03 p.m. Thursday, March 30, East McKenna Road, west of North CR 600E, Warsaw. Driver: Cody M. Timmons, 27, South Main Street, Leesburg. Timmons lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole. Timmons was transported to Kosciusko Community Jail for a certified breath test. Damages up to $10,000.
3:59 a.m. Friday, March 31, South CR 400E, north of East CR 700S, Claypool. Driver: Rito R. Olivas, 38, South CR 300E, Claypool. Driver struck a deer. Damages up to $2,500.
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
3:18 p.m. Thursday, March 30, Wooster Road, east of East Street, Winona Lake. Drivers: Patricia L. Goldsmith, 52, 2nd Street, Winona Lake, and Edward W. Rodriguez, 40, Blue Spruce Road, Warsaw. Goldsmith rear-ended Rodriguez’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
8:25 a.m. Friday, March 31, West Emeline Street, Milford. Drivers: James D. Amsden, 66, Milford, and Carl E. Shearer, 90, Cherokee Ridge, Athens, Ga. The vehicles collided in a gas station parking lot. Damages up to $2,500.
