Yetta L. Stage
Yetta L. Stage, 92, Ligonier, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.
She was born on March 20, 1924 the daughter of Edgar and Ruth (Frame) Sack. On Nov. 16, 1939, she married Harold Stage; he preceded her in death in 1998.
She is survived by three children: Suetta Clermont of Lake Placid, Fla.; Donna (Dave Morgan) Burnside of Traverse City, Mich.; and Richard (Nancy) Stage of Big Sky, Mt.; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, James Brent Stage; a brother, Richard Sack; and a son-in-law, John Straughan.
Yetta loved the outdoors and was an avid snow skier for many years. She was a member of The Presbyterian Church. Yetta was a hard worker and operated a beauty salon in her home for years. She and her husband, Harold also owned and operated Stage Decorating. Yetta was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
In keeping with Yetta’s wishes no public visitation or services are planned. A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center with a private family gathering to take place at a later date.
