Treatment Of Combat Veteran
Dear Editor,
I would like to say just how sad I think it is that an elected county government official who allows drug offenders the opportunity to go to our county’s drug court program, will deny a combat veteran who has not harmed anyone or damaged anything, and has never harmed anyone or anything, or used or dealt drugs, or stolen and is no threat to our community, the opportunity to go to the Veterans Court program worked out with Noble County. This combat veteran has overcome his alcohol addiction steaming from the stress of combat and is turning his life around.
I’m disappointed that this is the message sent by our county. I think the voters of this county should know that this is how their elected officials (or their wives) treat our combat veterans and the unprofessional behavior of said official and his office.
Thank you.
Rachel
