Donald Irvine “Don” Huffman, 82, Warsaw, passed away peacefully at 12:50 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2017, in the care of the nursing staff at Mason Health & Rehab in Warsaw.
He was born on May 22, 1934 in Warsaw to Irene Belle Huffman. He was a lifetime Warsaw area resident, attended Warsaw High School and was Sergeant in the United States Marines where he received the Sharpshooter Medal. He was married on April 7, 1962 in Warsaw to Beverly Jean Lowman, who survives. He retired in 2002 from the Newmar Corporation in Nappanee after many years.
He was a member of the Warsaw Wesleyan Church.
He is survived by his wife Beverly; his two daughters, Glenda Huffman and Teresa Huffman, Warsaw; his son, Bruce (Kris) Huffman, Warsaw; his granddaughter, Cayla Huffman; his step granddaughter, Alicia Carnes; his half-sister, Doris Feiler, Goshen.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step father: Irene and Roy Ringgenberg; two step brothers; and three step sisters.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw. Private family graveside services will be held at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Warsaw, IN with Pastor Jarod Osborne officiating.
