Larry Lee Glant
Larry Lee Glant, 77, Warsaw, passed away March 7, 2017 at his home.
He was born March 31, 1939 in Leesburg to Samuel and Donnabelle (Ulrey) Glant.
Larry was a lifetime resident of Warsaw where he graduated Leesburg High School 1957. He was a long haul truck driver for 40 years. He took pride in purchasing his first Peterbuilt semi-truck at the age of 50 and also winning the semi-truck Show & Shine 2002 at the Kosciusko County Fair.
Larry was an avid golfer, played in many tournaments at surrounding golf courses. He enjoyed the summer “Golf Tour” with the guys and several yearly golf trips to South Carolina. He enjoyed mowing his yard and mother’s field and cutting wood for sale to keep himself active. He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his mother, Donnabelle Glant; three daughters: Sonia DeGaetano, Kathy Buckheit and Lori (spouse Mike) Morel, all of Warsaw; Four grandchildren: Angela (spouse Sam) Miller, Seattle Wash.; Danielle DeGaetano, Warsaw; Reese and Sydney Morel, Warsaw; Two great grandchildren, Tanner and Dexter Beck; a brother Jack (spouse Kathy) Glant, Garden Grove, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father; a brother Alan Glant; a son-in-law Phillip DeGaetano.
Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m., Sunday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A private graveside service will be held.
