Danny D. Gregory
Danny D. Gregory, 75, Sarasota, Fla., and formerly of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida.
He was born on June 29, 1941 in South Whitley to Preston and Dorothy (Kennedy) Gregory. He was married to Roberta Gregory, who survives.
Danny, along with his wife Roberta, have owned and operated Subway Restaurants in Warsaw, Milford, Nappanee, Syracuse, Bremen and North Webster for the past 25 years. He has also owned several race car teams and was recently inducted into the Warsaw Speedway Hall of Fame. Danny was also an active supporter of Our Father’s House in Warsaw and always wanted to give business advice to those that wanted to start their own business.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Roberta Gregory; daughter, DeeDee (husband Alex) Moseley, Venice, Fla.; sister, Judy Vickers Fort Wayne; two grandsons, Darren and Carter Moseley, both of Venice, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Darren.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 11 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
His funeral Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 12 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Rob Seewald. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Father’s House, 401 Argonne Road, Warsaw, IN 46580 and would be appreciated by the family.
