Atwood called tanker assist from Etna Green and Warsaw Fire.

WARSAW — Around 5 p.m., March 5, Atwood Fire was dispatched to a garage fire at 7721 W. Forest Avenue, Warsaw, on the west side of Hoffman Lake. They quickly called for tanker assist from Etna Green and Warsaw Fire Departments.

Smoke could be seen from US 30 as firefighters fought to put out the blaze. The cause of the fire in the garage is unknown. Flames quickly spread to the house.

All of the house’s residents were able to get out before the fire spread to the home.
