Syracuse Man Arrested For Third Time This Year
SYRACUSE — A Syracuse man has already been arrested three times this year. He faces his latest charges after he entered the home of an ex-girlfriend through a bedroom window.
Ethan Jessie, 27, 4547 East Fox Run Drive, Syracuse, is being charged with residential entry, a level 6 felony.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, officers responded to a residential entry complaint on Feb. 24. The victim told the officers that the sound of someone talking woke her up around 3:21 a.m. She got out of bed and observed her daughter’s ex-boyfriend Jessie in her house without her permission or consent.
The victim states Jessie then exited the residence, entered the passenger side of a pickup truck and left the area. She believes Jessie was able to enter the house by removing the screen from a bedroom window and using a chair to enter through the window.
Jessie was arrested for criminal trespass and resisting law enforcement on Feb. 1 and on Jan. 3 for driving while suspended with prior.
He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a $6,000 surety and cash bond.
