WINONA LAKE — The Center for Lakes and Streams has moved in preparation for construction to begin on the Dr. Dane A. Miller Science Complex and is now located in the Encompass Residence Hall. The center will continue to be located in the Encompass Residence Hall until the new science complex is completed.
Grace College will begin construction on the new science facility in 2017. The facility, with major funding by Dr. Dane and Mary Louise Miller, Zimmer Biomet, K21 Health Foundation, and friends of Grace College, will highlight specifically designed and dedicated space for the Center for Lakes and Streams. This space will help the center increase its impact in the community.
Groundbreaking on the new building is scheduled for this spring. The Center for Lakes and Streams has experienced great growth in programming, research, staff, and community involvement over the last decade.
