Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
3:41 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, East Center Street, north of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Miranda L. Baker, 35, Sophie Lane, Warsaw, and James M. Willard, 41, West CR 1200S, Silver Lake. Baker rear-ended Willard’s vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.
5:47 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, West Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Marc A. Linton, 54, North SR 13, Pierceton. Driver went over a curb and struck two unoccupied, parked vehicles. Damages up to $10,000.
7:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, South Buffalo Street and Prairie Street, Warsaw. Driver: Jennifer R. Goshert, 25, South SR 15, Warsaw. Goshert was rear-ended by another vehicle; however, the driver of the other vehicle left the scene without stopping. Damages up to $2,500.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
6:10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, South Main Street, North Webster. Driver: Jeremy R. Weaver, 36, West Crystal Flash Road, North Webster. Weaver advised that he had just bought the vehicle fifteen minutes prior to the accident and when he tried to stop, the brakes did not work. Damages up to $2,500.
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
2:55 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, South CR 400W, south of West CR 150S, Warsaw. Driver: Kyle W. Hamman, 18, West CR 525S, Claypool. Driver struck a deer, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and he then struck a fence and two REMC utility poles. Damages up to $25,000.
