LAKEVILLE – Tippecanoe Valley went 2-3 in Saturday’s Lakeville middle school wrestling super dual.

Valley beat LaVille 57-54 and Rochester 75-30 while falling to Discovery 63-47, Grissom 68-46 and Lincoln 87-33.

Showing well for Valley included Ethan Sprague, Johnny Gonsalez and Tyler Nine, who all earned individual medals as they were all undefeated on the day. Branson McBrier, Braxton Davis and Ian Becker each won four matches, while Jacob Bailey, Luis Castillo and Skyler Losher won three. Picking up two wins were Hunter Eherenman and Uvaldo Gutierrez, while Matt Davis, Keenan Deniston, Bobby Burke, Zack Burke, Dylin Losher and Brandon Hammer each earned one victory.

Leading the way for the Lakeview Tigers were undefeated wrestlers Brandon Estep (five wins), Micah Went (four wins), Nicolas Luna (three wins) and Will Wells (three wins).

Jose Velazquez picked up three wins for the Tigers. Brennan Cox, Cameron Charles and Isaac Delacruz each had two wins and Noah Gaither one for Lakeview.
