Edgewood Ladies Claim Hoops Wins
WARSAW – A thrilling finish and another big victory.
Such was the case Tuesday night for the outstanding pair of Edgewood Middle School girls basketball teams.
Audrey Grimm drained a 3-pointer at the final horn to lift the 8th grade team to a 25-24 win over Lincoln Middle School.
Grimm and Kensie Ryman each scored six points to lead the way as Edgewood won the thriller.
Brooklyn Fitzgerald finished with five points as Edgewood improved to 12-2. Lindsey Bradley and Kendra Love each added four points for the winners.
The Edgewood 7th grade ladies made it 14 victories in a row with a 37-10 win.
Bailie Stephens led the undefeated Tigers with 11 points.
Eryn Watmough had nine points and Adin Um six for Edgewood. Mackenzie Sokol netted four points and Hannah Hatfield, Abby Sanner and Abby Taylor each had two and Marin Hart one.
Edgewood hosts Riverview on Thursday night.
