Claypool Council Members Renew Contracts
CLAYPOOL — At a brief Claypool town council meeting held Monday, Feb. 20, a motion was made to renew four contracts, including a contract for Kosciusko County Lutheran EMS ambulance services, a Boyce computer software maintenance license agreement, an inter-local agreement between Kosciusko County and the town of Claypool for terminal services data and a fire protection agreement with Clay Township. This motion was approved.
The new trash carts from Advanced Disposal have been distributed. Anyone who did not receive a trash can should contact Claypool town council. Council members stated that no other items are to be put out by the curbs for trash pickup, unless it is during the time of spring clean-up which will be discussed in March.
Larry Neher informed board members that 4-wheelers are starting to become an issue again in Claypool. Neher and Dalis Owens, the new town marshal, discussed a possible ordinance regarding 4-wheelers.
Gene Warner, street superintendent, who was approved last month to attend the American Waste Water Association conference in Indianapolis, asked for an amendment to the January minutes. Warner had been given approval to be reimbursed for hotel rooms while attending the conference. However, the January minutes showed that this was for two nights. Warner stated it was actually three nights. January minutes were approved with this amendment.

- Town employee Danny Warner received the new lab equipment he had requested for testing wastewater pH.
- Council members signed claims and a cemetery agreement.
- The next regular meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday, March 20.
