Phyllis Anne Bauer — UPDATED
Phyllis Anne Bauer, 90, North Webster, passed away at 12:17 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 at Parkview Hospital in Warsaw.
She was born on Dec. 3, 1926 in Fort Wayne to Charles Burton and Frances Marie (Wagner) Moore.
She attended South Side High School in Fort Wayne and on Jan. 26, 1963 in Fort Wayne she married Albert A. “Bert” Bauer and he preceded her on Sept. 25. She was a homemaker and formerly employed at Eckrich Meats in Fort Wayne for six years. She moved to Arizona in 1971 from Fort Wayne and then to North Webster in August 2011.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Minnick, Warsaw; three sons: Larry (Jane) Galbreath, Phoenix, Ariz.; Bill (Tina) Galbreath and Donald Galbreath, North Webster; three step-daughters: Peggy Mueller, Fort Wayne; Marsha (Tim) Estes, Lima, Ohio; Janet Kline, Mesa, Ariz.; two step-sons: Ronald Bauer, Florida; Theodore (Bridgette) Bauer, Carmel; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, husband, great grandson, Zachaery Cox, sister, Dorothy Fanger, two brothers, Richard Moore and Charles Moore Jr., and step daughter, Rebecca Huffman.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & C.R. 500N in North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Burial will be in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
