NORTH WEBSTER — Although Valentine’s Day is past, love still lingers when voyager book club meets to discuss romance novels at its 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, meeting at North Webster Community Public Library. Voyager is a different kind of book club in that everyone reads a different book. Each month focuses on a different genre and participants select a book of their own choosing within that genre. Then the group meets to share and discuss what each one has read. If you’ve read a good romance novel lately, bring it to share at Monday’s meeting. In March, the group will be reading fiction.
It will be sweet treats at revolving recipe round-up 5:30 p.m.Tuesday, Feb. 28. Everyone is to prepare a sweet tasting dish and bring it to share along with the recipe. It’s always a fun and friendly time as everyone samples each other’s dishes and trades recipes. Each month focuses on a specific kind of food. Next month, the focus will be dishes made or served with bread.
