Andrews Tabbed As All-Star Coach
NAPPANEE – It’s been some year for Nate Andrews.
Andrews, the man who guided the NorthWood football team to a state runner-up finish in November, has been chosen as the head coach for the North team in the annual Indiana Football Coaches Association’s North-South All-Star game this summer.
Andrews, a 1996 NorthWood graduate, led the Panthers to a 14-1 finish this past fall. NorthWood won the Northern Lakes Conference title and then sectional, regional and semistate championships before losing in the Class 4-A state title game.
Andrews is 28-10 in three seasons at NorthWood after previous coaching stops at Lapel and Western.
The date for the game, which is normally played in July in Indianapolis, has not been announced.
