Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
4:09 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, South County Farm Road, north of East. CR 450S, Warsaw. Driver: Nathan D. Kinney, 23, Crescent Drive, Warsaw. Kinney hit a deer. Damage up to $2500.
4:10 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, East US 30 and South SR 13, Pierceton. Drivers: Susan K. Bandemer, 71, Woodstream Drive, Fort Wayne, and Gayle L. Newton, 57, River Forest Drive, Fort Wayne. Both cars were in the right lane with Newton stopped at a red light. Bandemer thought the traffic in front of her was proceeding through the light and rear-ended Newton. Damage up to $10,000.
8:41 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, West SR 14, east of South CR 200W, Silver Lake. Driver: Shawn P. Carlson, 20, Sycamore Street, Silver Lake. Carlson fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the road, colliding with a ditch. He was treat by medics on scene. Damage up to $5,000.
6:46 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, North Fox Farm Road and West Side Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Morgan D. Rohr, 20, Green Hill Drive, Warsaw, and Aaron J. Lewis, 18, South SR 25, Warsaw. Rohr rear-ended Lewis when he was turning and she was unable to slow down. Damage up to $5,000.
Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accidents:
2:35 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, Turkey Creek Drive, east of North SR 15, Milford. Drivers: Whitney L. Schwab, 26, Turkey Creek Drive, Milford, and Michael D. Mench, 34, Turkey Creek Drive, Milford. Schwab was driving in an aggressive manner prior to the crash. Mench was working on his vehicle in the driveway when it “lurched” into the road. Schwab collided with Mench’s vehicle, causing both vehicles to go off road. Schwab’s vehicle became partially submerged in a pond with two minor children inside. Damage up to $5,000.
11:02 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, North Old Road 15, south of East CR 1300N, Milford. Driver. Raul Rodriguez, 45, North CR 250E, Milford. Rodriquez was reaching for a water bottle when his vehicle left the road and went in to a ditch. Damage up to $1,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
12:35 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 600 block S. Main St., North Webster. Owner of Lake Lube reported damage to a overhead exit door of the automatic car wash.
