Edgewood Cagers Continue Winning Ways
WARSAW – The Edgewood Middle School girls basketball teams collected two more wins Thursday night over Tippecanoe Valley.
Eryn Watmough and Mackenzie Sokol each scored eight points as the Edgewood 7th grade ladies continued their undefeated season with a 41-16 win.
Bailie Stephens had seven points as Edgewood improved to 11-0. The trio of Cora Ransbottom, Jaslyn Brock and Erin Dawson each added four points and Morgan Nichols and Philena Evett both scored two points.
Kensie Ryman led the way with 16 points as the Edgewood 8th grade team won 39-26.
Kendra Love scored 11 points for the 8th grade squad, which improved to 10-1. Audrey Grimm had five points, while Lindsey Bradley and Aubrey Hepler each had two and Madeline Whitaker one.
Sidney Wagoner led Valley with 10 points. Haley Backus scored seven points, while Ashley Butler had four and Hannah Parson and Mackenzie Costello each had two.
Edgewood plays at Manchester on Monday night.
