Norma Jean Monce
Norma Jean Monce, 88, Cincinnati, Ohio died at 4:15 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 at Indian Springs Healthcare Facility, Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was born in North Manchester, Dec. 4, 1928 to Harley A. and Ethel F. (Cover) Sincroft. She graduated from Central High School, North Manchester class of 1945.
She first married Earl R. Flohr on April 23, 1947. He died April 15, 1974. She then married Daniel “DeWayne” Monce on Nov. 29, 1997. He died Feb. 12, 2015.
She retired from Wabash Alloys in 1996. She was a life long season ticket holder for Purdue University football and basketball and was a member of the John Purdue Society.
She is survived by sons, Bradley (Cheryl) Flohr, Catonsville, Md.; and Steven P. Flohr, Cape Coral, Fla.; daughters, Michelle D. Freiburger, Ft. Myers, Fla. and Susan McBride, Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
One son, two brothers, one sister and two great grandchildren are deceased.
Family and friends may call from noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 at the funeral home. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
