Edgewood Ladies Continue Undefeated Campaigns
WARSAW – The Edgewood Middle School girls basketball teams picked up a pair of wins over city rival Lakeview Wednesday night.
The 8th grade Edgewood team posted a 36-23 win in action at Lakeview, while the 7th grade came out on top by a 46-3 final.
Kensie Ryman had 13 points and seven assists to lead the Edgewood 8th grade team to its win.
Lindsey Bradley had nine points and Brooklyn Fitzgerald seven for the winners. Kendra Love finished with six points and Aubrey Hepler one. Both Bradley and Fitzgerald each had five rebounds.
Kassidy Dees led Lakeview with nine points. Kendall Wayne and Haley Carey each had five points and Sydney Lancaster four for Lakeview.
Bailie Stephens led the Edgewood 7th grade team to its win with 12 points.
Mackenzie Sokol had nine points and Hannah Hatfield seven for the winners. Adin Um scored six points and Cora Ransbottom and Erin Dawson each had four. Jaslyn Brock and Morgan Nichols each added two points.
Both Edgewood teams are no 9-0 on the season. They will play at NorthWood on Monday.
