Bethel Basketball: Pilots Roll On In Conference
GOSHEN – The Bethel College men’s basketball team won their 12th-straight Crossroads League victory defeating Goshen College 90-73 Wednesday night.
Senior guard Caleb Oetjen led the way for Bethel with 20 points, seven assists and three steals. Junior forward Gage Ott added a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Paul Forman chipped in 16 points to go along with four boards.
Jordyn Coon added 10 points and nine rebounds while senior classmate Clay Yeo had 15 points and six rebounds.
Bethel (23-3, 12-1) hosts Grace College on Saturday at 3 p,m. where they will honor Head Coach Mike Lightfoot during a pre-game ceremony. Lightfoot announced last month that he plans to retire from coaching at the end of the season. The men’s game Saturday will follow the women’s game, which tips-off at 1 p.m. versus Grace.
