Armin C. Mueller
Armin C. Mueller, 84, Warsaw, passed away at 12:10 a.m. Jan. 29, 2017 in Mason Health and Rehab Center.
He was born Dec. 17, 1932 in South Bend to Alfred J. and Angela A. (Aeppler) Mueller. On May 11, 1956 in Warsaw he was united in marriage to Beverly Rapp who preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 1988.
A 1950 graduate of Warsaw High School, he then faithfully served our country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict at the rank of Corporal and was honorably discharged on February 18, 1955. During his time in the Army he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Metal.
He worked as a Production Manager at R.R. Donnelly’s retiring in 1992. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Moose Lodge and Redeemer Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his son, Allan Mueller of Warsaw; daughter, Angela (and spouse James) Perry of Mentone; grandson, Justin R. (and spouse Jennifer) Perry of Warsaw; granddaughter, Kelsey Perry of Mentone; and two great grandsons: Leeland and Matthew Perry both of Warsaw.
He was preceded by his wife and great granddaughter Amelia Rose Perry.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 2 at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Mike Mueller officiating. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery with Military Honors by the American Legion Post 49 and the VFW post 1126. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral.
