LCA Basketball: Stutzman Runs Wild On Cougars
GOSHEN – Nathan Stutzman was the man Saturday afternoon.
The talented guard for Clinton Christian went wild on Lakeland Christian Academy Saturday afternoon, dropping 38 points on the Cougars in a 72-36 win for the Couriers.
Stutzman, who leads the Couriers in every major statistical category this season, hit seven three-pointers and stuffed the stat sheet against a Cougar team that had no answers for him. Stutzman has averaged over 22 points per game, scored 16 in the first quarter and bested his average by one, 23, by halftime. He also collected seven rebounds and two assists.
Benson Yoder added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Couriers, which move to 16-3 on the season.
LCA, which drops to 6-10 overall, had Josh McDaniel lead the way with 15 points and Landon Twombly added 10 points.
LCA plays again Thursday at Lakewood Park Christian.
