Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
4:10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, East Center St. and South Harrison St., Warsaw. Drivers: Elaine K. Dirico, 59, West Lake Street, Warsaw, and Gary P. Groninger, 49, West Shilling Road, Mentone. Dirico rear-ended Groninger. Damage up to $2,500.
5:08 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Julia A. Martinez, 29, Woodland Trail, Warsaw, and Ryan C. Craft, 34, Woodland Trail Warsaw. Martinez rear-ended Craft. $5,000.
5:22 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Chrirstan E. Lopez, 24, CR East 200N, Warsaw, and Vernon M. Galloway, 60, North SR 13, Syracuse. Galloway began to travel westbound on Anchorage after a train had cleared the tracks. As he was driving, Lopez turned in front of Galloway and the two collided. Damage up to $2,500.
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
4:04 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, North SR 15 and CR West 1350N, Milford. Drivers: Cameron B. Erekson, 54, Baywater Place, Bristol, and Jonathan T. Willis, 28, Sweetwater Way, Elkhart. Erekson was northbound on SR 15, when he looked down for a second. When he looked up, traffic had stopped. In order to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of him, Erekson went off to the right of the road. Willis was driving the vehicle that was had been in front of the vehicle Erekson had been trying to avoid. Erekson was unware that Willis was making a right turn. Erekson collided with Willis. Damage up to $10,000.
