NorthWood Basketball: Panthers Put Away Red Hawks
GOSHEN – NorthWood used a strong start Thursday night to put away Goshen, 39-22, in freshman boys basketball.
The Panthers held the Red Hawks to just three points in the first quarter and built a 20-9 lead at the half. An 11-4 edge in the third quarter helped NorthWood pull away.
Josh Stratford led the Panthers (8-2) with 10 points. Trent Edwards had eight points and three assists, Brock Flickinger had six points, eight rebounds and five assists, Micah Phelps had seven points and Tanner Bunch chipped in four points.
NorthWood resumes its play next Thursday at home against Warsaw.
