Sena B. Setser —UPDATED
Sena B. Setser, 64, Columbia City, passed away at 3:27 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 at Parkview Whitley Hospital.
Born on Oct. 4, 1952 in Logan, W. Va. she was the daughter of John Frank and Zanna Marie (Bragg) Gillum.
Sena moved from West Virginia to North Manchester midway through high school and graduated from Manchester High School with the Class of 1970. She worked as a Qualified Nursing Assistant for several years. Sena loved cooking for the holidays, making blankets, listening to classic country music, watching thunderstorms, and eating blue AirHeads candy.
Survivors include her children: Miranda Setser of Columbia City; Joshua (Christina) Day of Fort Wayne; and Melony Andritsch of South Bend; grandchildren: James Ressler, Abigail Ressler, Sharlyn Andritsch, Andrew Andritsch, and Lillian Andritsch; three great-grandchildren; sister Glenda Stone of North Manchester; brothers: Jackie (Judy) Gillum of New Market, Tenn.; Jimmy (Norma) Gillum and Johnny Gillum, both of North Manchester; pet dog Sugar.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Billy Gillum, and sister Patricia Gillum.
A memorial service for Sena will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with memorial calling one hour prior to service. Memorial contributions in memory of Sena may be made to her Final Expense Account.
