Warsaw Wrestling: Tough Night In Goshen
GOSHEN – Tough sledding in Goshen Thursday night for the Warsaw wrestling team as it fell to host Goshen 63-12 in Northern Lakes Conference action.
The lone mat winners for the Tigers were Kyle Hatch at 152 and Brady Stout at 160, both winning by pin fall.
Gavin Truex picked up a tech fall win in JV action to highlight the Warsaw undercard.
The Goshen match was the first dual for the Tigers since the Dec. 10 Northridge Invite. Warsaw had competitors in the Al Smith Invite in late December, but its varsity has been off of team competition since.
Warsaw will join a loaded field at Saturday’s Garrett Invite in varsity action while the JV Tigers will take part in work at Woodlan. Warsaw’s final NLC matchup is at Concord next Wednesday ahead of the NLC Championships on Jan. 21.
