Larry P. Sellers
Larry P. Sellers, 73, Culver, passed away Jan. 7, 2017 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in
Plymouth.
Larry was born May 5, 1943 in Plymouth, one of four children born to the Late Phillip and Elsie (McCoy)
Sellers.
Larry attended Aubbeenaubee School and enlisted in the US Army in 1963. Upon returning home, he married
Christine Nelson and together they raised three daughters. Larry worked in the construction business for over 40
years, eventually retiring as a Foreman at Crider & Crider.
Larry was a patriotic man who loved his country. He truly loved spending time with his family and enjoyed living
on the family homestead. He was also a big Elvis fan and visited Graceland.
Larry is survived by his daughters: Jennifer (Chris) Mathews of Chicago, Ill.; Jayme Sellers and Cara (David)
Masterson, both of Culver; grandchildren: Grifin, Callie, Cadin, Emma, and Sophie; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Grover “Bud” Sellers, and sisters Anita Bottorff and Doris
Sellers.
There will be a time of visitation with the family at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver from 2-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11. A celebration of Larry’s life will follow at 3:30 with Robert Metzger officiating. Veteran Rites will be performed by the Finney-Shilling VFW Post 6919 of Culver.
