Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
10:29 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, East Fort Wayne Street and North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Melanie Martin, 35, Nina Lane, Warsaw, and Noelle Daley, 38, Timberline Circle, Warsaw. Martin drover her vehicle through a red light and collided with Daley’s vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.
1:11 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, East Center Street and North Lincoln Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Elizabeth Dausman, 60, North CR 1000E, Pierceton, and Sue Wilkinson, 75, EMS D23 Lane, Syracuse. Dausman’s vehicle rear-ended Wilkinson’s vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
2:38 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2501 Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Drivers: Karrie Spore, 32, Rozella Road, Warsaw, and Alex Hurt, 35, Columbia Street, Warsaw. Spore backed up her vehicle in the parking lot, colliding with Hurt’s vehicle, which was also backing out of a spot. Damages up to $2,500.
2:41 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, North Detroit Street and Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Scott Fouts, 37, Smith Street, Warsaw, Heather Reichenbach, 39, Barrington Place, Warsaw, and Patricia Lowe. 45. South CR 875W, Claypool. Lowe stopped her vehicle for emergency sirens, causing a chain reaction rear-ending. Damages up to $10,000.
3:11 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, North Parker Street and East Main Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jacob Gall, 31, Market Street, Warsaw, and Elizabeth Hartman, 53, Westgate Avenue, Columbia City. Gall’s vehicle rear-ended Hartman’s vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.
11:42 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2000 West Winona Ave., Warsaw. Driver: Sasha Hollett, 29, Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Hollett’s vehicle collided with an unoccupied, parked car. Damages up to $5,000.
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
7:33 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, SR 25, east of South CR 400W, Warsaw. Driver: Louanne Weber, 65, West CR 1000S, Akron. Weber hit a deer with her vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
7:17 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, Mckenna Road and CR 650E, Pierceton. Driver: Amanda Stookey, 35, EMS B24 Lane, Pierceton. A dog ran in front of Stookey’s vehicle and Stookey was unable to avoid hitting it. Damages up to $5,000.
