Bonnie D. Suseland — UPDATED
Bonnie D. Suseland, 90, DeMotte, formerly Plymouth, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017 at St. Anthony Hospital in Crown Point.
Bonnie was born April 15, 1926 in Harrisburg, Ill. to Guy and Margaret (Gibbons) Roper. On April 12, 1963 Bonnie became the bride of William R. Suseland, he preceded her in passing on Feb. 7, 1998. Bonnie worked at the Parkview Hospital as an ER clerk, she continued with the hospital after it became St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed volunteering in the gift shop and being a candy striper. Bonnie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of SJRMC and Delta Theta Tau. Bonnie also served on the Camp Fire Girls Board and participated with the Plymouth Community Choir.
Bonnie is survivied by her daughter, Amy and Mark Rose of Wheatfield; six grandchildren: Aaron Mann, Stephani and Thomas Konczac Mann, Brittany and Mike Orsburn, Ryan Mann, Morgan and James Norman and Kylie Mann; one great-grandson, Atlas Norman; her brother, Bruce and Linda Roper of LaPorte; Bonnie is preceded in passing by her parents, husband, William R. Suseland.

A funeral in honor of Bonnie will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5 in the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street Plymouth, IN 46563 with Chaplain Alex Jack officiating. Burial will be in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
A time of visiting with the Suseland family will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5.
Memorial contribution in honor of Bonnie can be given to the Donor’s choice.
