Shelby J. Smoker Wogoman

Shelby J. Smoker Wogoman, 75, Warsaw, passed at 5:15 a.m., Tuesday Dec. 27, 2016, at the Meadows Care Center of Warsaw.

She was born on Sept. 28, 1941 in Rochester to Ernest and Francis (Shriver) Smoker.

She had been a dietitian for Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw. She was a 1959 Graduate of Akron High School. She loved reading, collecting watches and angles and also enjoyed nature.

She is survived by her sons, Danny Lee (Toni) Willard, Warsaw; Steven Willard, North Manchester; her brothers: Ernie Smoker, Rochester; Richard (Janice) Smoker, Florence, Ky.; Ed (Lottie) Smoker, Rochester; James (Joanie) Smoker, Pullayup, Wash.; sister, Phyllis (Emory) Smith, Ocala, Fla.; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents and her brothers Terry and Dennis Smoker.

A visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m. Monday, Ja. 2, 2017 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at Akron Cemetery in Akron.
