Donna L. Olinger
Donna L. Olinger, 83, Warsaw, passed away at 2 p.m. Dec. 26, 2016 in her residence.
On Aug. 8, 1933 she was born in Gary to Harold A. “Dutch” and Jean M. (Dietel) Ford. On Sept. 25, 1954 she was united in marriage to Jean R. Olinger who preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School and attended Indiana University in Bloomington. She was a bookkeeper for Sun Metal Products in Warsaw retiring in 2006. She was a member of Warsaw Women’s Bowling Association and was inducted into the Bowlers Hall of Fame in January 1993. She was of Presbyterian Faith.
She is survived by her children, Pam Gow, Albuquerque, N.M.; Nancy (and spouse Scott) Quillen of Warsaw; Sally Olinger of Euless, Texas; and Ford Olinger of Warsaw. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Greg (and spouse Candace) Baker of Montgomery, Texas; Jamie (and spouse Will) Lohse of Rio Rancho, N.M.; Matthew (and spouse Melissa) Berling of Fishers; Andrew Justus of San Diego, Calif.; and Christopher Mudd of Euless, Texas; along with her great grandchildren: Hope Baker, Kyra Baker, Ivy Baker all of Montgomery, Texas; Jenna Lohse, Gavin Lohse of Rio Rancho, N.M. and Olivia Garrett of Fishers. She is further survived by a great-great grandson, Zayden Nicasio of Rio Rancho, N.M.
She was preceded in death by her former spouse Jean Olinger; her son Maury Olinger; her sister Barbara J. Williamson and her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. A visitation will held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29 at the funeral home.
