Community Corrections Meetings Open To Public
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Kosciusko County Community Corrections advisory board hosts quarterly meetings each year to discuss the community corrections programs. The meetings are held in the Kosciusko County Justice Building, multipurpose room, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw, and are open to the public.
The meetings for 2017 will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 9, April 17, July 10, and Oct. 9.
The advisory board is made up of officials in the judicial system, law enforcement, county council and commissioners, school systems and individuals involved in assistance programs.
Kosciusko Circuit Court Judge Michael Reed is chairman of the advisory board. Antony Garza is the advisory board secretary/treasurer.
Kosciusko County Community Corrections promotes public safety by providing preventative and rehabilitative evidenced-based services and supervision to offenders, holding offenders accountable to their victims and community as well as improving the offender’s ability to live productively and lawfully. Its vision statement is to be a recognized and respected leader in the community by continuing to make positive impacts on those served.
It will also be known as an evidence-based proactive agency continually seeking to reduce recidivism.
